Pennsylvania Girlchoir

Commonwealth Youthchoirs is 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers six programs which combined serve more than 650 young people. Commonwealth Youthchoirs mission is to transform the lives of young people through the power of making music together – one song at a time. A young person joins one of our programs with a desire to sing and a love of music. Membership in Commonwealth Youthchoirs requires great commitment, but the rewards are equally great. After participating in Find Your Instrument! or Good Mornin’ Music!, our outreach and early childhood programs, a young person leaves as a singer. Once a child joins Keystone State Boychoir, Pennsylvania Girlchoir, New Jersey Boychoir, or Garden State Girlchoir, he or she leaves as a musician. For participating children, the skills they learn, the music they make, the places they go, and the people they meet are deeply affecting experiences that will serve them and stay with them all their lives. All ads purchased by April 1, 2017, will be printed in programs for our 2017 performances, as well as our yearbook. Of our 600 families, a third reside in the greater Northwest Philadelphia area, and a third reside in Eastern Montgomery County, particularly along Old York Road from Elkins Park through Jenkintown and Abington.
